Happy Veterans Day, Lord!

Today is a great day to remember those who have served before, those who were in the military while I was in it, and the current service members.

I pray that You will please bless all of us, including our families.

Not only did we have to make sacrifices, but our families also had to make sacrifices.

They deserve as much of the praise as we do!

Lord, thank You for the beautiful pictures my daughter and her husband took today at the Dinosaur Park.

I cannot forget that my granddaughter also took some great pictures.

I thank You for blessing them today!

Also, thank You for helping my wife bake that bread today.

It was very delicious, and I enjoyed every moment of eating it.

I am looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Thanks again for the wonderful day. I look forward to writing to you in the morning,

Thank You Lord for giving me a good night sleep last night in the easy chair.

It was the first time in awhile I was able to sleep all night from bedtime to morning without waking up and going to the bathroom.

Thank you for letting me open my eyes and letting me do things that I plan to do this morning, such as work on my book, write in the journal, buy eggs at Publix, and enjoy a cup of coffee at Dunkin.

Lord it is great to see the certificate that Alex earned attending the online training.

I know that she is proud and I am proud of her.

Also, it was great that Eric, Piper, and Lilly gave her flowers when she came home from work last night.

Thank you God for everything and for giving me another chance.

Please bless my appointment this afternoon with the dentist.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for giving me the chance to read your devotion and my daily reading from the Olive Tree app 

I thank You and am very grateful because You allowed me to open my eyes this morning and see the beautiful day. 

Lord, I hope my daughter had a great day at work with the Open House yesterday. 

I pray that she can meet the new students and help them.

I also pray that she will do well with the certification process for VA members or veterans. 

I pray that my wife will be able to keep busy with something that she loves to do. 

As I mentioned yesterday, she enjoys helping people who are in need. 

Thank You for everything. 

I pray that they can fix the screens today and that it won’t cost too much. 

Thank You, God, for letting me hear the train!

Good morning, God,

Thank You again for the beautiful morning and the opportunity to enjoy coffee at my favorite place in Summerville, the Cuppa Manna.

My favorite coffee to drink is the 16oz American Cappucino in one of the large coffee mugs.

Of course, the coffee has to be hot.

I am still not used to iced coffee and probably will never be.

Thank You for allowing me to text my daughter this morning and for allowing me to send her money for my granddaughters.

This will go on top of the other money we sent this past Friday.

Because I was squimmish about sending extra money, however as I leaned last week, they need the assistance especially with the dental emergency.

I am thrilled that it helped with the shortfall, and I am glad her teeth are feeling better.

I pray they will have a great open house today and that my daughter and her husband can close on their own home long before December 4th.

If we get to go there to help with the move, just let us know.

It was great to receive the invitation to my aunt’s 80th birthday in December.

If it is in Your will, we will go.

If not, we will send a card or a gift.

I pray for my wife and that she can find some things to keep her busy.

She does not like being bored.

She wants to do something to help people and to glorify You.

Thank You, God, for giving me the ability to write this and for my other writings.

Thank You once again for a beautiful, cool morning, which will be a fantastic day.

Lord, I pray that You please forgive me for my sins and help me.

I have tried and tried, but nothing is working.

Only You can do it.

I will pay a price if I sin against You and my family.

I don’t want to do that anymore.

Today is the day of a new schedule that I will try.

My goal is to stay busy and do something constructive between 8:00 and 5:00 instead of “mumbling” around, as my wife will say.

I want to concentrate on whatever I am doing at the time.

For example, it is time for the journal, NAIWE, and LinkedIn; I will then concentrate on that for 15 minutes.

I pray for your blessings, God, on this new schedule.

I pray for your blessings for my family, and please take care of them.

Today is Panamanian Independence Day!

I believe this is one of Maria’s favorite holidays besides Christmas.

I pray that everyone in Panama and all citizens who are not in Panama enjoy their day!

Lord, thank You for a great lunch with the Millennium team.

I am looking forward to our possible get-together in January.

Lord, I pray for my attitude.

I pray that it doesn’t ruin myself or anybody close.

I want to make everyone around me happy.

I know that I am not the central focus.

I like having what Maria has; she always looks out for others.

Now, it is time to look out for her!

Dear Lor,

Another job prospect, another rejection!

Oh well, that is life, mainly when you lead mine.

I have always believed that You will lead me to the right opportunity for me and my wife.

So I am not worried about the no or no thanks. We found someone else.

Today is Halloween when children and some adults dress up like someone else.

Yes, I am going to dress up like a scarecrow.

Anyways, as soon as Halloween is done, it is November.

It’s one of my favorite months of the year.

Lord, I pray that You will keep the children safe tonight as they seek treats.

I pray that You will be with my granddaughters as they visit the neighborhood to get candy.

Our Father,

I thank You for this awesome day.

Please forgive me for my reaction this morning.

If my wife wants to wake up early, she can.

Lord, I pray I can stay away from computers, cell phones, and iPads today!

These are the things that are ruining my eyes and my brain.

Plus, pretending to be someone that I am not is not helping either.

Lord, I want to go through a normal, peaceful life with no or little stress.

Whatever happens in this judgment happens!

It will seem like many people have more success than I do in many things, and they have done nothing to get it.

Well, that is what it seems.

Lord, I know that I will have success when I get to Heaven.

Also, I need to put this out of my mind.

Many people are in a worse situation than I am right now.

So, I need to stop complaining.

I need to keep in mind that I want to help people.

That is my goal.

And I need to stop getting emotional about things.

And try to blaze a path towards it.

It refers to trying to be something that I am not.

You will set my path for the rest of my life.

Another beautiful and crisp morning that You have given us as a blessing for our lives.

I want to Thank You for this.

Also, for letting me open up my eyes for another day.

I pray that You will change my attitude towards people, especially my wife.

I don’t like how I responded to her a few times yesterday.

I need to learn how to control myself.

Especially when I am responding.

I pray for Your blessings during my appointment this afternoon.

I hope the doctors take one look at my hand and say everything is good!

Thank You, God, for everything, and I pray that You please forgive me for the sins I have committed against You and the ones I love.
